Ingredients
Scale
1 (16 ounce) package shelf-stable or frozen potato gnocchi
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
If using frozen gnocchi, do not thaw them first. Place the gnocchi directly into the air fryer basket.
In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Pour the oil mixture over the gnocchi in the basket and toss gently to coat evenly.
Arrange the gnocchi in a single layer in the air fryer basket, working in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
Air fry at 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius) for 10 to 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time. The gnocchi should be golden brown and crispy.
Remove the cooked gnocchi from the air fryer and immediately transfer them to a clean bowl.
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the hot gnocchi and toss until the cheese melts slightly and coats the pieces.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra crispiness, cook the gnocchi in two smaller batches rather than one large batch.
You can substitute cauliflower gnocchi or sweet potato gnocchi using the same method and timing.
For a spicy kick, add 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the oil mixture.
