Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ziti pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook ziti pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces, salt, and pepper. Cook until chicken is browned and cooked through. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and thickened.
  6. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce.
  7. Add the drained ziti pasta to the skillet and toss gently to coat everything evenly with the sauce.
  8. Pour the pasta mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and lightly golden on top.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired before serving.
