Ingredients
Scale
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
4 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
1/2 cup pecans, toasted and chopped
2 tablespoons heavy cream
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Place the softened cream cheese in a medium bowl.
Add the crumbled blue cheese and heavy cream to the bowl.
Beat the mixture with an electric mixer or a sturdy spoon until smooth and creamy.
Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and black pepper.
Fold in the toasted, chopped pecans gently.
Transfer the spread to a serving dish.
Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.
Notes
Toast the pecans lightly in a dry skillet over medium heat for the best flavor. Watch them closely so they do not burn.
If you prefer a smoother texture, pulse the entire mixture in a food processor.
This spread pairs wonderfully with crackers, apple slices, or celery sticks.
