Ingredients
Scale
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon.
Spread a thin layer of the brown sugar mixture over each triangle of dough, leaving the widest edge clear.
Sprinkle the chopped nuts over the brown sugar mixture, if using.
Starting from the wide end, tightly roll up each triangle.
Arrange the rolled dough pieces in a circle, seam-side down, in the prepared cake pan, with the points facing inward.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
While the wreath is baking, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth.
Once the wreath is out of the oven, let it cool slightly in the pan.
Drizzle the glaze over the warm wreath.
Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For an extra festive touch, add a sprinkle of edible glitter or festive sprinkles after glazing.
This wreath is best served fresh, but leftovers can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
