- 1 cup full-fat cottage cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- Pinch of salt
- 1/4 cup low-sugar pizza sauce
- 1/4 cup shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons pepperoni slices (optional)
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, combine the cottage cheese, egg, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregano, and salt. Mix until fully combined.
- Spread the cottage cheese mixture evenly into a small, oven-safe bowl or ramekin (about 4-6 inches wide).
- Bake in the oven for 10 minutes, or air fry for 8 minutes, until the base is set.
- Remove the bowl carefully. Spread the pizza sauce over the cooked base.
- Top with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni, if using.
- Return to the oven or air fryer for 3-5 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let it cool slightly before eating directly from the bowl.
Notes
- For an air fryer, line the basket with parchment paper cut to fit for easier cleanup.
- You can substitute the pepperoni with cooked ground meat or vegetables.
- If you prefer a crispier edge, use a metal baking dish instead of a ceramic bowl.
