Ingredients
Cranberry sauce: 1/2 cup
Brie cheese: 4 ounces, cut into small cubes
Crackers (your favorite kind): 12
Pecans or walnuts (optional): 2 tablespoons, chopped
Fresh rosemary (optional): for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place the crackers on a baking sheet.
Top each cracker with a small cube of brie cheese.
Spoon a small amount of cranberry sauce over the brie on each cracker.
If using, sprinkle a few chopped nuts over the cranberry sauce.
Bake for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the brie is soft and slightly melted.
Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute before serving.
Garnish with a tiny piece of fresh rosemary, if desired.
Notes
Use firm crackers that can hold the topping without breaking.
You can substitute brie with another soft cheese if you prefer.
Taste your cranberry sauce; if it is very tart, you might want a touch more sweetness on top.
