Make these Cranberry Dijon Glazed Pork Chops for a meal that is both tangy and sweet. This recipe delivers juicy pork chops coated in a bright, flavorful glaze perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear the pork chops for 3 to 4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove the chops from the skillet and set them aside.
  4. Reduce the heat to medium. Add the cranberries, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and water to the same skillet.
  5. Bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring occasionally. Cook for about 5 to 7 minutes until the cranberries begin to burst and the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Return the pork chops to the skillet. Spoon the glaze over the chops.
  7. Continue cooking for another 3 to 5 minutes, turning once, until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  8. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving, spooning extra glaze over the top.

Notes

  • You can use frozen cranberries without thawing them first.
  • For extra depth, add a pinch of dried thyme to the glaze while cooking.
  • Adjust the brown sugar if you prefer a less sweet glaze.
