A simple, creamy, and spicy dip made in the slow cooker, perfect for parties or game days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup cooked, shredded chicken breast
  • 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the softened cream cheese in the bottom of a small slow cooker.
  2. Top the cream cheese with the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, and ranch or blue cheese dressing.
  3. Stir the ingredients together until mostly combined.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and blue cheese crumbles (if using) over the top.
  5. Cook on low for 2 hours or on high for 1 hour, stirring halfway through.
  6. Stir well before serving hot with tortilla chips, celery sticks, or crackers.

Notes

  • For a thicker dip, drain excess liquid from the shredded chicken before adding it to the slow cooker.
  • You can substitute blue cheese dressing for ranch dressing if you prefer a stronger blue cheese flavor.
  • If you do not have a slow cooker, combine all ingredients in an oven-safe dish and bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes until bubbly.
