Ingredients
Scale
6 cups Chex cereal (any variety)
1 cup pretzel twists
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup white chocolate chips
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1 cup peanut butter chips (optional)
1/2 cup holiday colored sprinkles
1/2 cup reindeer-themed candies (like M&Ms or similar)
Instructions
Place the Chex cereal and pretzel twists in a very large bowl. Set aside.
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and peanut butter chips (if using). Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each, until completely smooth.
Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the cereal and pretzels. Gently stir until everything is evenly coated.
Spread the coated mixture onto a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Sprinkle the powdered sugar evenly over the warm mixture.
Gently toss the mixture until the powder coats everything. Work quickly while the chocolate is still slightly sticky.
Immediately sprinkle the holiday sprinkles and reindeer candies over the top. Gently toss one more time to distribute.
Let the mix cool completely. Break apart any large clumps once cool.
Store in an airtight container.
Notes
Sasha suggests using a mix of cereal types for more texture.
You can substitute the peanut butter chips with butterscotch chips if needed.
Ensure the chocolate is fully melted before coating the dry ingredients.
This recipe is best made when you have a friend nearby to help stir!
