Ingredients
Scale
1 cup dill pickle slices, drained and finely chopped
1/2 cup pickle juice
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1 packet dry ranch seasoning mix
1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped (optional)
For garnish: extra pickle chips or fresh parsley
Instructions
In a small bowl, soak the chopped pickles in the pickle juice for 10 minutes. This boosts the pickle flavor.
In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
Add the mayonnaise, sour cream, and dry ranch seasoning mix to the cream cheese. Mix well until everything is fully combined and creamy.
Gently fold in the drained, chopped pickles.
Stir in the fresh dill, if you are using it.
Cover the dip and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Chilling helps the flavors marry.
Before serving, garnish the top with a few extra pickle chips or fresh parsley.
Serve chilled with your favorite dippers like potato chips, celery sticks, or crackers.
Notes
For a thicker dip, reduce the amount of pickle juice slightly, or drain the soaked pickles very well.
You can make this dip a day ahead; the flavor improves overnight.
If you like extra tang, add a teaspoon of white vinegar to the cream cheese mixture.
Sasha suggests adding a pinch of cayenne pepper for a little unexpected heat.
