Get ready for incredibly tender steak bites coated in a rich, savory garlic butter sauce. Sasha’s recipe brings bold flavor that comes together fast for a fantastic meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels. Season them generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Add the steak cubes to the hot skillet in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding. Sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned on all sides. You may need to work in batches.
  4. Remove the seared steak from the skillet and set it aside on a clean plate.
  5. Reduce the heat to medium-low. Add the butter to the same skillet.
  6. Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Do not let the garlic burn.
  7. Return the steak bites to the skillet. Toss everything gently to coat the steak thoroughly in the garlic butter sauce.
  8. Cook for 1-2 minutes more, just long enough to heat the steak through.
  9. Remove from heat. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving immediately.

Notes

  • Use a good quality steak like sirloin or ribeye for the best flavor.
  • For extra heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes with the garlic.
  • Don’t overcook the steak; you want it medium-rare to medium for juiciness.
