Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups raw mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts, pecans)
  • 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, toss the raw nuts with the melted coconut oil until they are evenly coated.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the ground ginger, ground turmeric, sea salt, and black pepper.
  4. Sprinkle the spice mixture over the oiled nuts. Toss well to ensure every nut has some spice coating.
  5. Spread the seasoned nuts in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the nuts are fragrant and lightly toasted. Watch them closely to prevent burning.
  7. Remove from the oven and let the nuts cool completely on the baking sheet. They will crisp up as they cool.
  8. Store in an airtight container once fully cooled.
