Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 Oreo cookies
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother melting)
  • 2 tablespoons sprinkles (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs. You can do this in a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and crushing them with a rolling pin.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the Oreo crumbs with the softened cream cheese until well combined and a dough forms.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Chill the balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until firm.
  5. Melt the white chocolate chips. You can do this in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, or use a double boiler. Add the coconut oil if using, for a smoother consistency.
  6. Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted white chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. You can use a fork or a toothpick to help with this.
  7. Place the coated balls back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Immediately sprinkle the tops with festive sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
  9. Allow the chocolate to harden completely at room temperature or in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • For an extra festive touch, you can add a tiny bit of blue or red food coloring to the melted white chocolate.
  • These truffles can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • If you don’t have Oreos, you can use other chocolate sandwich cookies.
