Ingredients
Scale
1 can (8 count) refrigerated crescent roll dough
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate the triangles. Do not unroll them completely; keep them in their original strips.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, and salt. This is your flavor base.
Dip each crescent triangle into the garlic butter mixture, making sure both sides are coated.
Arrange the buttered triangles randomly in the prepared baking pan, layering and overlapping them to create a messy, pull-apart look.
Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the breadsticks.
Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the breadsticks are golden brown and cooked through.
Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the top.
Let cool slightly before serving warm. Encourage everyone to pull a piece!
Notes
Sasha prefers to use fresh parsley, but dried works well too.
Feel free to add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the butter mixture for a little heat.
If you like an extra cheesy coating, reserve a little mozzarella to sprinkle on after baking.
