Ingredients
Scale
1 package instant ramen noodles
1 tablespoon butter
1 clove garlic, minced
2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 large egg
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and black pepper to taste
Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Cook ramen noodles according to package directions, but drain most of the water, leaving about 2 tablespoons in the pot.
While the noodles are cooking, melt butter in a small pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
In a bowl, whisk together the egg and Parmesan cheese.
Add the cooked ramen noodles and garlic butter to the bowl with the egg and cheese mixture. Toss quickly to combine, using the residual heat to cook the egg and create a creamy sauce.
Stir in the crumbled bacon.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
Ensure you toss the noodles with the egg mixture quickly to prevent the egg from scrambling.
Adjust the amount of garlic and Parmesan to your preference.
For a richer sauce, you can add a splash of the reserved noodle water.
