Ingredients
Scale
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
1/4 cup almond butter
2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
2 tablespoons molasses
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Pinch of salt
1/4 cup water or milk (add more if needed)
Instructions
Combine the oats, protein powder, flaxseed, chia seeds, and all the spices in a medium bowl. Mix well.
Add the almond butter and molasses to the dry ingredients.
Gradually add the water or milk, mixing until you form a cohesive dough.
If the mixture is too dry, add liquid one teaspoon at a time. If it’s too sticky, add a bit more protein powder.
Roll the dough into small, one-inch balls.
Place the balls on a parchment-lined plate or tray.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow them to firm up before serving.
Notes
You can substitute another nut or seed butter if you prefer.
For a sweeter treat, add 1-2 tablespoons of maple syrup.
Store these balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
