Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1 (14 ounce) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 package wonton wrappers (about 48 wrappers)
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly spray a mini muffin pan with cooking spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the squeezed dry spinach, chopped artichoke hearts, cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Mix well until smooth.
  3. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  4. Gently press one wonton wrapper into each cup of the mini muffin pan, forming a cup shape.
  5. Spoon the spinach artichoke mixture evenly into each wonton cup, filling them almost to the top.
  6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the wonton edges are golden brown and the filling is hot and bubbly.
  7. Let the bites cool in the pan for a few minutes before carefully removing them. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Make sure you squeeze as much water out of the spinach as possible for the best texture.
  • You can substitute puff pastry squares for wonton wrappers if you prefer a flakier crust.
  • Sasha suggests adding a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little flair.
