This Spinach Artichoke Dip Stuffed Bread is a crowd-pleasing appetizer perfect for any gathering. It features a warm, crusty bread filled with a creamy, cheesy spinach and artichoke dip.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 loaf of crusty bread (like a French baguette or sourdough)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chopped frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1/2 cup chopped artichoke hearts (canned or jarred), drained
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the top off the crusty bread and hollow out the inside, leaving a shell about 1 inch thick. Reserve the removed bread for dipping.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream. Mix until smooth.
  4. Stir in the minced garlic, chopped spinach, and chopped artichoke hearts.
  5. Fold in 3/4 cup of the mozzarella cheese and 1/4 cup of the Parmesan cheese.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to your liking.
  7. Spoon the spinach artichoke mixture evenly into the hollowed-out bread.
  8. Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  9. Wrap the bread loosely in aluminum foil.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  11. For a crispier top, unwrap the foil for the last 5 minutes of baking.
  12. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving with the reserved bread pieces for dipping.

Notes

  • Ensure the spinach is well-drained to prevent a watery dip.
  • You can add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat.
  • This appetizer is best served warm.
