Transform your Thanksgiving leftovers into delicious Turkey Cranberry Sliders. These easy sliders are perfect for a quick and tasty meal, bringing a new life to your favorite holiday flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup cranberry sauce, jellied or whole berry
  • 2 tablespoons plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 slider buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, cheese, extra cranberry sauce

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, gently combine the ground turkey, celery, onion, cranberry sauce, breadcrumbs, parsley, salt, and pepper. Do not overmix.
  2. Form the mixture into 12 small patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
  3. Cook the patties in a lightly oiled skillet over medium heat for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through and no longer pink in the center. Alternatively, you can bake them on a baking sheet at 375°F (190°C) for about 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  4. Lightly toast the slider buns if desired.
  5. Assemble the sliders by placing a turkey patty on the bottom half of each bun. Add your favorite optional toppings.
  6. Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground chicken or even leftover shredded turkey for the ground turkey.
  • Adjust the amount of cranberry sauce to your preference.
  • These sliders are great served warm or at room temperature.
